She left her dream life at twenty-one to find her soul. She has been in devotion ever since — to God, to the divine, to herself, to love, to her shadows. Everything, she says, brings her closer to her essence. She had always loved her vulva, even through the teenage shame. But the portrait brought something new: not love from a distance, but contact. Recognition. A conversation that couldn’t be avoided anymore.

I left my dream life at the age of 21 looking for the path of my Soul. I started my spiritual path six years ago where I discovered the real meaning of Devotion. From then onwards it has been a path of devotion — to God, to the divine, to the divine inside of me, to myself, to my practice, to love, to my shadows, my inner work, to life.
Everything brings me closer to myself, my essence, my real purpose. I chose to get my vulva portrait drawn in order to love the portal of creation, feminine power and mystery that I am. To meditate as a portal of possibilities and creativity. To remind myself of my beauty.
I always loved her even if I felt ashamed of it when I was a teenager. But after the artwork there was a proper CONNECTION. Like… hey you!!! Can’t escape now. After the drawing, my body feels honoured and I feel this was exactly what I needed to complete the starting cycle of boundaries in my life.

Devotion is commitment to what is sacred — including the self. This woman has been living that truth for years. This portrait simply made it visible.
