Caris Pepper Creative Therapist
I am knowledgeable about human development, spiritual, multicultural and artistic traditions, and the healing potential of art. Through creating and reflecting on the art products and processes, people can increase awareness of self and others, cope with symptoms, stress and traumatic experiences; enhance cognitive abilities; and enjoy the life-affirming pleasures of making art.
I use an integrated approach to Arts Therapy sessions which has been developed over years of experience. In addition to philosophical insight, often alternative, creative methods enhance the process by encouraging a deeper connection to emotions. This in turn leads to greater acceptance, awareness and an increased possibility for permanent change.
In a compassionate manner, my work with each client is structured to best suit their individual needs. As an accredited AromaTouch Technique and Reiki Practitioner, these practices can be implemented or incorporated to assist sessions depending on the client’s needs. I am passionate about my work and believe that every challenge provides us with an opportunity for growth and development. While self awareness is often a challenging process, it is with this acceptance and change that consciousness, peace and fulfillment are achieved.
