Creative Therapies: An Integrative Approach to Healing with Arts Therapy, Energy Healing, and Art

As a holistic and creative therapist, I have found that using an integrative approach to healing that combines different modalities can be highly effective in promoting emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. By incorporating arts therapy, energy healing, and art, I can provide clients with a personalized approach that is best suited to their needs.

Arts therapy is a form of therapy that uses creative expression to promote emotional, mental, and physical healing. By incorporating different creative mediums such as drawing, painting, and music, clients can tap into their inner creativity and express themselves in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Energy healing is a form of alternative medicine that seeks to promote healing and balance the flow of energy in the body, it can also be used for clearing spaces and inanimate objects. Examples of energy healing modalities include Reiki, aromatherapy, psychic visions, psychosomatics, and chakra balancing. By using modalities such as aromatherapy and chakra balancing, clients can release blocked energy and promote balance on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.

Art is a powerful tool that can be used in both arts therapy and energy healing. Art provides a visual representation of emotions and can aid in identifying and expressing feelings that may be difficult to put into words. In addition, art can be used to enhance energy healing practices by incorporating symbols or imagery that represent positive energy and balance.

I find combining these three modalities to be highly effective in promoting healing on multiple levels. Here are some examples of how they can work together:

  1. Using art as a tool for energy healing: Channeled paintings are created through a process of allowing energy to flow through the artist, with the intention of creating a specific outcome. This outcome can be peace, healing, or any other intention that the artist wishes to channel. The resulting artwork is infused with this energy and can be used as a tool for healing. The observer can tap into the energy infused in the artwork and use it as a tool for their own healing journey.
  2. Using art in arts therapy: Using art in arts therapy is a given. A practitioner will incorporate art into sessions by having clients create artistic representations of a moment or their feelings. It provides a tangible representation of the energy they are experiencing and can be used as a point of focus during a session.
  3. Incorporating energy healing into arts therapy sessions: Energy healing techniques can be used in conjunction with arts therapy to help clients release blocked energy and promote emotional healing. For example, a practitioner may use Reiki to balance the client’s energy field before beginning an arts therapy session.

By combining all three modalities, I can provide clients with a comprehensive approach to healing that is best suited to their needs. This integrative approach may include starting with an energy healing session to balance the client’s energy field, followed by an arts therapy session where they create a visual representation of their emotions, and ending with a Reiki session to promote relaxation and balance.

Overall, my personal experience has shown that incorporating arts therapy, energy healing, and art can be a powerful tool for promoting healing and balance on multiple levels. As a holistic practitioner, I am committed to providing a personalized approach to healing that addresses the unique needs of each client.
